Manager/Supervisor
The Information Systems Manager will plan, coordinate, and manage computer-related activities by determining the technological needs of the company and making software related decisions to meet those needs in conjunction with managing IT vendor, and TSS.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SCOPE, PURPOSE, AND FREQUENCY OF CONTACTS
The position requires daily contact with all levels of TECO-Westinghouse and customers including Engineering, Marketing, Factory Operations, Supply Chain, Service and Accounting.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Read, write, analyze, and interpret financial reports and legal documents. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. Apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Identify a solution to a problem involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Must be a self-starter with the ability to work effectively and take ownership of assigned projects in a fast-paced environment.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish IT policies, strategies, and standards for operations for North America
- Manage the Nort American IT/IS teams, manage IT provider, and support daily business and operations
- Provide expert level SAP support
- Develop and implement technology roadmap to support business initiatives in IIoT, cloud-based customer service, process automation and system integration in all functional areas
- Identify opportunities to improve IT operation efficiency and minimize risks
- Develop goals and objectives for IT team members to support daily operation and future needs
- Assist with the development of the IT/IS budget to support business and operation
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of the company's IT environment and assets, including:
- Infrastructure (Servers, Switches, Routers, SAN)
- Network and security (SD-WAN, LAN, Active Directory) and Firewall
- Applications (Citrix, SAP, Exchange, VMware)
- SAP: application change management and approves release to production
- Telephone system, cell phone system and associated contracts
- Manage Local, Long Distance and SIP telephony contracts
- Engineering software and applications (Catia, Solidworks, 3DExperience, and Smarteam)
- Digital Content Platforms (eCommerce, Website – WordPress CMS)
- Oversees troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provide support when necessary
- Help Desk (IssueTrak)
- Information Risk management
- Negotiate and maintain IT related service contracts, software licenses, supervise hardware and software purchases for North American operations
- Other responsibilities, projects and duties as required

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Programming (required), master’s degree (preferred), or related field required
- Minimum of 10 years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and training
- Minimum of 3 years’ previous experience managing complex projects and staff
- US Citizenship is required for work on government contracts
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- SAP expert is a must
- Proficient in various software
- Thorough understanding of CIS principles, programs, policies, activities, and procedures
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work
- Ability to explain technical problems and offer solutions to those without technological training
