Field Account Executive -Florida, Washington, Oregon or Georgia
About the Role
Location: Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Florida, Atlanta, GA; Washington State; or Oregon.
Travel: Extensive travel required within the assigned territory. Candidates will support a single geographic territory (Atlanta and Washington State/Oregon) and will not be responsible for travel across all listed regions.
TECO-Westinghouse is seeking a Senior Field Sales Representative to drive sales growth and build strong customer relationships across an assigned territory. This role focuses on selling industrial motors, drives, and related solutions to OEMs, distributors, contractors, and end users. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong consultative sales skills and a proven ability to develop new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow relationships with OEMs, distributors, contractors, and end users
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts
- Provide technical sales support and application guidance for motors, drives, and related equipment
- Conduct customer visits, presentations, plant tours, and product demonstrations
- Negotiate proposals, contracts, and commercial agreements
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
- Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, Customer Service, and Sales teams to deliver customer solutions
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, reports, and territory plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 3+ years of industrial, technical, or outside sales experience
- Experience with electric motors, drives, rotating equipment, automation, or other industrial products strongly preferred
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to understand technical specifications and applications
- Proven ability to manage a territory and consistently achieve sales objectives
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region
