TECO-Westinghouse Motor Company is looking for a detail-oriented Customer Service Specialist II to provide exceptional support to our customers and sales team. In this role, you'll manage customer orders, provide product and inventory information, coordinate shipments, and ensure a seamless customer experience from quote to delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Process customer orders received by phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Enter and maintain accurate customer orders and electronic order files.
  • Provide quotations, pricing, and inventory availability for stock motors.
  • Monitor backorders and process them according to company procedures.
  • Verify shipments and provide customers with order status updates.
  • Process customer order changes and maintain shipping information.
  • Generate freight quotes and coordinate shipping logistics.
  • Support Accounts Receivable activities, including invoicing, credits, and RMA processing.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
  • Maintain compliance with company quality, safety, and ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of customer service, order management, inside sales support, or related experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Typing speed of 45+ WPM.
  • 10-key by touch proficiency.
  • Experience using SAP or another ERP system is preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting industrial products or manufacturing operations.
  • Knowledge of order processing, shipping, freight coordination, and inventory management.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple departments.
